Fable multimedia limited develop and publish educational software resources for teaching science. We work closely with teachers to create products which offer effective learning, whilst being inspiring and easy to use. We are continually pushing the boundaries of technical and design know-how to provide our customers with the best online and CDROM e-learning resources. Our products are used in 15% of UK secondary schools and are exported to several countries worldwide.
History:
- Jan 1999 - Oscillations and Waves CDROM released "Software models to die for" TES 99
- Jan 2000 - Force and Motion CDROM released.
- Jan 2001 - Force and Motion wins the British Educational Technology Award (BETT) for best secondary software.
- Sep 2001 - Fable become the exclusive UK and Irish publisher of Interactive Physics after successfully adapting it to the UK market.
- Apr 2002 - Physics-online.com is released.
- Sep 2002 - Interactive Physics for AS Maths/Mechanics is released.
- Jan 2003 - Physics-online.com is nominated for the BETT 2003 Online Learning Award.
- Jan 2003 - The first six of a series of GCSE teaching tools are released.
- May 2003 - Fable relocate to Belfast, Northern Ireland.
- Jun 2004 - Fable complete a major science e-learning project for the Malaysian Ministry of Education
- Oct 2004 - Odyssey for Advanced and GCSE Chemistry is released
- Jan 2006 - Odyssey is specially commended in the BETT 2006 Award.
- Aug 2006 - Fable design the NanoQuest 3D game project for the Irish Government.
